Cistus incanus (L.) – trends and traditional indications in the light of pharmacological research

Cistus incanus L., a member of the Cistaceae family, is very popular herb in Poland from few years. On web chats we can find a wide range of medicinal activities attributed to this herb. Can infusion from C. incanus be a remedy for any ailment? A review of the research on the activity of Cistus incanus herb and leaves extracts was presented in this paper.
