Janina Fetlińska (1952–2010), pielęgniarka, dr nauk medycznych, nauczyciel akademicki, polityk, senator VI i VII kadencji; pierwsza polska pielęgniarka ze stopniem dra n. med. z zakresu pielęgniarstwa oraz specjalizacji I stopnia w zakresie medycyny społecznej; dyrektor Biura Ciechanowskiego Konsorcjum Zdrowia, Mazowieckiego Centrum Zdrowia Publicznego, expert i dyrektor Programu Rozwoju POZ (Podstawowej Opieki Zdrowotnej); czynny udział w pracach Banku Światowego i Programu Phare z zakresu POZ w latach 1993-94; wykładowca i nauczyciel akademicki w Wyższej Szkole Humanistycznej w Pułtusku, Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Zawodowej w Ciechanowie; inicjatorka Ciechanowskiego i Akademickiego Forum Zdrowia. Autorka kilkudziesięciu artykułów i prac naukowych z zakresu zdrowia publicznego, promocji zdrowia i pielęgniarstwa. Zginęła w katastrofie smoleńskiej 10.IV. 2010.

Janina Fetlińska (1952–2010), a nurse, PhD, a university tutor, a politician, Polish senator of VI and VII term, the first Polish nurse with PhD medical degree in nursing and a specialization degree in social medicine. The manager of Ciechanowskie Konsorcjum Zdrowia (the Ciechanów Health Consortium Organization), The president of Mazowieckie Centrum Zdrowia Publicznego (Masovian Centre of Public Health), an expert and director of the Primary Health Care Development Programme. She was taking an active part in the work of the World Bank and the Phare Programme in the field of PHC (1993-94). Janina Fetlińska was a tutor and a lecturer in the Higher School of Humanities in Pultusk and the State Higher Vocational School in Ciechanów. She was an initiator of Ciechanów and Academic Health Forum, an expert in the field of school textbooks on public health and nursing. She was the author of numerous articles and research papers in the field of public health, health promotion and nursing. She died in a presidential plane crash at Smolensk on 10 April 2010.
