The Stanisław Konopka Main Medical Library in Warsaw

The Main Medical Library in Warsaw was established June 8 1945. The creator and first director of the facility was Professor Stanislaw Konopka (1896-1982). Since then library meets all the functions of a modern library facility, collects complete Polish literature in the field of medicine and related sciences as well as important items of world literature.
