Prescribed medications containing antibiotics. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of prescriptions for medications containing antibiotics was carried out. The prescriptions were made up in four different pharmacies in Warsaw. The analysis was performed in 2006. The study revealed irregularities concerning prescribed medications. The most common disorders are as follows: improper choice of the route of administration, improper combination of different antibiotics and pharmacological incompatibilities of antibiotics and other therapeutics agents.
