Treatment of cancer pain. An author gives an overview of current strategies used in the treatment of cancer pain. Etiological and neurophysiological classification of cancer pain is discussed and relevant differences in the treatment are highlighted. WHO recommendation concerning cancer pain treatment as well as basic principles of efficient procedures are described.
