By the reason of demographic prognosis about increasing amount of elderly people in our society, pharmaceutical studies are interested in the process of human aging. On the ground of low availability of ambulatory treatment, the pharmaceutical care in community pharmacies plays a major role in maintenance the optimal and coordinated therapy of geriatric patient. Present-day situation in Poland require improvement of non-hospital treatment quality, especially in case of elderly people, which can benefit. It can also have influence on more reasonable spending of public money, which is important for Polish Health Care System.
