Review of dermocosmetics for vascular skin care available on Polish market

The vascular skin is characterized by telangiectasia located in the facial skin, erythematous changes and hypersensitivity to irritants. The tension of the walls of the blood vessels depends on the contraction of the smooth muscle of the blood vessels and is controlled by two vasomotor mechanisms: neurogenic and humoral. The cause of telangiectasia are not conclusive. The role plays by both genetic conditions and environmental factors. Proper functioning of the vascular skin depends mainly on its properly selected care. Due to its special needs, it is recommended to use dermocosmetics containing ingredients strengthening the vessels, moisturizing, regenerating the damaged epidermal barrier and protecting against the action of harmful factors. The analysis covers dermocosmetics available on the Polish market, that have properties that reduce the objective and subjective symptoms associated with this type of the skin.
