Appropriate quality, effectiveness and safety are the main features in development of medicines. Therefore, drug advancement in this area includes research on dosage forms as well as containers and applicators. Many of modern developments aim to facilitate self-administration of medicinal products, improving their stability and implementation of innovative e-technologies supporting ophthalmic therapy. Examples of innovative technological solutions are presented in this publication.
