Medication non-adherence in pharmaceutical care process. The main task of pharmacists during pharmaceutical care process is to assure the efficacy and safety of the applied pharmacotherapy. Adherence with prescribed drug regimens is an essential factor determining the successful therapy. This review examines factors contributing to non-adherence incidence, methods for measuring adherence and strategies needed to its improve considering the pharmacists and healthcare prescribers role in pharmaceutical care process.Keywords: adherence, patient, pharmacotherapy, pharmaceutical care.
