Oleożele z kwasem salicylowym w praktyce leku recepturowego
2009-03-25

Oleogels (lipophilic gels) are semisolid formulations prepared by dispersing or dissolving gelling agents in natural or synthetic oils. These preparations can be useful dermatological vehicles, however they are practically unknown in the Polish compounding practice. Traditional compounded ointments with salicylic acid and other active substances were re-formulated as oleogels using castor oil and rapeseed oil gelled with colloidal silica (Aerosil 200). The presence of surfactant (polysorbate) allowed for easy removal of the oleogels from the skin with water. The proposed composition and method of preparation ensures good appearance and good spreadability on the skin as well as at least 1 month physical stability of the formulations.
