Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS) as a novel method for evaluation of physicochemical and pharmacological properties of drugs. The paper reviews the current status of Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS). It focuses on the history of BCS from it's publication in 1995 by G. Amidon to date.
