Zwalczanie bólu w chorobach reumatycznych

Pain management in rheumatic diseases. Most of rheumatic diseases are typically accompanied by chronic pain. In this paper the pivotal principles of relieving rheumatic pain were described; pathomechanism of pain of this type was also taken into consideration. Special attention was directed to essential groups of analgesics used in rheumatic diseases, among others non'steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, paracetamol and weak as well as strong opioids. Since treatment of rheumatic diseases is very complex, short subsections were also devoted to non pharmacological methods of pain alleviation.
Ból przewlekły towarzyszy większości chorób reumatycznych. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono podstawowe zasady uśmierzania tego typu bólu z uwzględnieniem patomechanizmu jego powstawania. Omówiono także podstawowe grupy leków stosowane w uśmierzaniu bólu w chorobach reumatycznych m.in. paracetamol, niesteroidowe leki przeciwzapalne (NLPZ) oraz słabe i silne opioidy. Ponieważ leczenie chorób reumatycznych jest procesem złożonym, zwrócono uwagę także na metody pozafarmakologiczne.
