Formulation of antimycotic drug forms - trends in research. Onychomycosis is a common nail disorder which affects almost 20% of our society. It is difficult to cure and requires long duration of the treatment and in spite of that the relapse is common. The efficiency of the therapy could be improved by increase of bioavailability of the drug an combination of the systemic and topical therapy. The epidemiology of onychomycosis, the way of treatment and pharmaceutical technology progress in the field of the systemic and topical therapy were presented.
