Pharmacotherapy of cardiovascular diseases in patients with type 2 diabetes. Cardiovascular diseases are 2-4 times more frequent in type 2 diabetes as in the general population. The article is summary of the current principles of pharmacotherapy of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
