The phenomenon of multidrug resistance (MDR) of cancer cells is currently considered the main cause of failure of pharmacological oncological treatment. Researches focused on developing effective anticancer therapies are a real challenge for scientists all over the world and they are diversified. Special interest arouses the searching for new drugs among multidrug resistance protein inhibitors, the use of targeted therapy, including tyrosine kinase inhibitors and inducers of apoptosis, as well as immunotherapy. The development of modern drug forms is of great importance for the creation of new preparations.

Keywords: multidrug resistance modulators, targeted therapy, apoptosis inducers, immunotherapy tyrosine kinase inhibitors, monoclonal antibodies).
