Anaemia. Anaemia is a condition defined by deficiency of hemoglobine (and hematocrite). The most common types of anaemia are caused by iron, vitamine B12 or folic acid deficiency. However pathogenesis of anaemia can be more complex therefore its treatment should be based on solid pathomechanism knowledge and detailed diagnostics, otherwise anaemia therapeutic menagement can lead to mistreatment.
